Audit Committee
Accurate, up-to-date financial information is vital to the effective management of a congregation and is a component of resonsible stewardship. Three auditors are elected by the congregation to determine the accuracy and condition of all financial accounts and records of Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church.

Bjorgan and Siefkes Houses (aka Phinney Houses) Committee
The Committee meets monthly and oversees grounds maintenance, assures that residences are maintained at generally acceptable community standards, and receives rental payments for the PRLC-owned Bjorgan and Siefkes Houses.

Endowment Fund Committee
The Endowment Fund sustains a resource of funds for the future ministries of Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church by receiving gifts and bequests from the estates of members and friends of PRLC. Members meet at least four times annually and members’ terms run three years.

Food Bank Steering Committee
This committee meets monthly to review and revise policies pertaining to food acquisition, storage and distribution, and volunteer assignments for the Phinney Ridge Food Bank.

Memorial Committee
The Memorial Committee is an appointed group of three PRLC members who work with individuals and families who have recently lost a loved one. Their work includes sharing sympathy and solace as well as assisting the family in choosing a lasting gift to honor their loved one with the gifts that have been given in their memory.

Personnel Committee
This committee reviews major hiring, firing, and compensation decisions as well as periodically reviews and updates the personnel policies of PRLC and the CDC.

Vicar Care Committee
The Vicar Care Committee serves a vital role in the ministry of Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church to prepare seminary students for ordained ministry. It is made up of members who support, nurture and evaluate our vicars in their year here at PRLC. The Vicar Care Committee of Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church is formed of 4 to 7 members. The Committee’s ministry is to evaluate and provide a positive learning environment for the vicar (or intern) at Phinney. Part of this ministry includes evaluations of sermons and general aspects of ministry as well as offering a supportive and sensitive environment during the vicar’s time at Phinney.
