6:20-7:05 p.m.
Wednesday evening projects and activities are planned, keeping in mind the particular interests and abilities of each class. Classes give elementary chidren an age-appropiate opportunity to share their faith and look more deeply into the treasures of the Scripture, as it applies to their lives. We consider it a privilege to work so closely with some of the youngest members of our congregation.
Kindergarten Class
A special time and place are reserved for our Kingergarten students to learn more about God’s love for them. Through age-appropriate activities and projects, these students build deeper relationships with their teachers and friends that will serve as a foundation for life-long faith formation. As their sense of independence increases they will make a place for themselves within the church community. From lessons about their friends and neighbors, they learn to see themselves as an integral part of the PRLC family.

1st and 2nd graders learn to…
With full bellies and hopeful hearts we meet in Fellowship Hall and walk to our classroom together. Every week we spend time working on a project, telling our stories and playing games. At this age, students are enthusiastic about the details that make up the big picture of their faith. The class curriculum helps students connect what they are hearing in worship and Sunday School with what is happening at school and home.
