Sunday Classes: Adult Forum
Each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., there is at least one and sometimes two different classes running. There is never any advance registration necessary. All that’s needed is a desire to learn – so just come and join in the opportunity to learn.

Our Sunday classes range from beginning level Bible studies to what you might expect in a university level learning opportunity. Some are taught by our own members and pastors; sometimes we bring in guest speakers on a variety of topics. Our past curriculum has included such things as Religion and Science, The Gospel of Mark, Old Testament History, A Christian Response to Homosexuality. The list goes on. Every summer a group of members gets together to plan adult education for the Sunday mornings of the coming year.

Women’s Bible Study Circles and Spirited Women
Phinney Lutheran has three different Women’s Bible Study Circles that meet at daytime hours once each month to be led by one of our pastors in the study of a specific book or passage in the Bible.

Mary/Martha Circle meets on the second Wednesday at 1:00 at church
Bethany Circle meets on the third Monday at 9:30 a.m. in a member’s home
Salem Circle meets on the third Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in a member’s home
Spirited Women meets weekly at the church (in the Tree of Life Room) around a specific topic.  Often a book study or video series forms the structure for this discussion group.  Our Spirited Women gather at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays.

If none of these Circle Days work for you, we’d be happy to help you get a group of six or so people together to form a brand new one. Just ask!

Men’s Bible Study
Men meet Tuesday mornings in the Library 6:15 to 7:30 for Bible study.
