GIFT small groups provide a way to help people within the PRLC community connect with each other beyond a Sunday morning “Hello.” Small groups provide a place where people can have fun and develop or deepen friendships through the process of exploring a common interest and growing in faith. Different groups may focus more time on Bible study and prayer, others may spend a larger percentage of their time in service or exploration – it all depends on the group. Groups independently determine how they will spend their time, when and how often they will meet and for what length of time.

Every GIFT group is formed around these component parts:

  • GATHER to care for one another as Jesus taught us
  • GROW in faith, in relationship to Jesus and in knowledge of the Bible
  • EXPLORE study, delve into or join together on a chosen topic
  • SERVE serve others as a response to all we have been given

Examples of GIFT Groups include Faith and Film; Faith and Fitness; Outdoor Gourmet; Walking and Talking with Fido; Singing a Happy Song, Telling the Story and more.
