Choristers continue the work begun in Angel and Cherub Choirs.  They are now singing in parts, reading music, and working on the basics of music theory and composition.

The choiristers prepare for a variety of roles in worship leadership for their singing at Sunday services about once each month.  They learn not only appropriate anthems to compliment the Sunday texts, but will often work on other elements of worship leadership such as psalm settings, calls to worship or prayer, Gospel verses and music for the distribution of Holy Communion.

As soon as their dinner is compelte at 6:20, the Choristers assemble in the Choir Room under the direction of Donna Hoffman with Valerie Shields as accompanist.  At 7:05, Dona brings the Choristers to join with all other folks in the Bread for the Journey community for closing worship in the sanctuary.  They are ready to head home at 7:15 p.m.
