A GRATEFUL AND HEARTFELT THANK YOU
It is difficult to find the right words to express how your prayers, visits, cards and meals helped me with my recovery from my recent hospital and rehabilitation episode from the brain concussion and broken shoulder.  Knowing I was in your thoughts certainly helped to encourage me over my rough spots.  I wish that I could thank each of you personally, but I trust you will accept these words of my deepest appreciation.

It was simply a joy to worship with you, and such a blessing that it was on your quilt dedication Sunday! We were both amazed by the beauty and quantity of the quilts, not to mention the heart and love that went into making them! What a pleasure to speak with many of you after the service. The passions of your congregation truly shine through your members. Thank you again for the warm welcome—and the best church coffee I’ve ever had!

What a blessing to share in the joy of worship with your congregation at Phinney Ridge! Thank you for the warm welcome. Thank You Notes from This Year’s Lutheran Summer Music Students

I would like to thank everyone at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church for making it possible for me to attend Lutheran Summer Music this summer.  Without your support I would have been unable attend.  I am looking forward to expanding my musicianship through playing my clarinet and saxophone, and through singing in choir.  I am also looking forward to deepening my faith.  Finally I am looking forward to meeting new people who share similar musical interests as I do.  Thank you for making this experience possible for me.  I look forward to sharing my new skills with the entire congregation.

To the Endowment Committee and the members of Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church,

I want to thank Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church for the support you have given me with a scholarship for Lutheran Summer Music.  I have attended LSM as a student three times now and each time has been a transforming experience.

I really felt I was ahead of the game when I entered college because I had learned music theory, studied voice more, as well as learning self-responsibility.  My work ethic in all areas of school dramatically improved after my first summer and as been getting better every year since.

This time around I am attending LSM as an intern.  I will receive all the education a student would and also get to work directly with the concert choir director.  I am really excited to get an insight into what a director has to do behind the scenes to prepare for a rehearsal.

If I hadn’t received support from PRLC I don’t know if it would have been possible for me to go to LSM all four times.  I am deeply grateful for all that Phinney has done for me, and continues to do.
