With gratitude we report that over 40 volunteers lent their time and treasure to our first week of hosting the moms and kids of Mary’s Place during the week of May 1-8. God’s work—our hands, at work in our world. From friendly van drivers, Sunday School children welcoming with bags of supplies, home-cooked meals, hospitable overnight hosts, teen and adult homework and game-playing helpers, supply purchasers, laundering and logistical work—it went like clockwork, because of YOU!

Mark your calendars for July 31-August 7, when we will do it all again. With summer vacations in mind, we are eager for folks to set aside time to partner with us again in this important and rewarding work. There will be more training sessions in July for new volunteers too!
